A new greenhouse was built at the main HBLFA Schönbrunn site. The covered total area is approx. 3,800m² and consists of a Venlo block and 19 single departments. The facility provides lots of experimenting options thanks to a number of self-sufficient cultivated areas and irrigation systems. Sustainable rainwater storage rounds of this equipment’s modern appearance.
The “Kammermeierei” is a traditional place for training and research into vegetable growing. The 820 m² greenhouse block provides the opportunity to teach modern cultivation methods as a result of its equipment. KNECHT irrigation gantries and systems ensure growth here.
